Gregory Scott founded the Institute to address a gap that most meditation and mindfulness training leaves open: not what to practice, but which practice and why it's this one, for this person, at this stage of their development.
The Institute's work draws on the Vigyan Bhairava Tantra, a 1,500 year old Kashmiri text that maps 112 distinct doorways into expanded awareness.
The Institute's contribution is not to the ancient map itself, but to the assessment and personal mapping infrastructure needed to use it with precision: a formal assessment instrument, a practitioner training, and a methodology that treats contemplative guidance as the skilled work it actually is.
Mr Scott is a retired Public Safety professional who has used meditation and somatic practices to recover from more than three decades of exposure to trauma and the PTSD inducing anxiety that Greg found himself afflicted with and nearly crippled by. Decades of "experimenting" until he found the correct practice lead Greg to believe there had to be a better way. The ancient wisdom found in the Vigyan Bhairava Tantra, when matched with the proper assessment and practice mapping, is that better way.

The 112 Doorways assessment is a confidential online assessment tool. The assessment takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. Once you have answered all questions, your comprehensive analysis and personalized guide-map will populate on your screen.

A Two-Day Immersive Course
You have been practicing the 112 Doorways. You have sat with the techniques, worked with the assessment, and begun to know through direct experience what awareness actually is. Something has shifted in you. Something is more available than it was.
Now the practice asks for your body.
The Vigyana Bhairava Tantra the ancient Kashmir Shaiva text at the heart of the 112 Doorways system has always understood the body not as an obstacle to awakening but as one of its most direct vehicles. The 112 techniques do not ask you to transcend physical experience. They ask you to meet it so completely, so honestly, and with such refined attention that it becomes transparent to what it has always been expressing: awareness itself, alive in form.
The Threshold Deha Sadhana is where that understanding becomes a daily practice.
Deha means body. Sadhana means disciplined spiritual practice. This course teaches you the Threshold Practice a 90-minute somatic sadhana organized around the six Doorways of the 112 Doorways system and gives you the philosophical and experiential foundation to practice it for the rest of your contemplative life.
Across two days, you will move through each Doorway in depth: the breath that breathes itself, the body inhabited from within, the emotion located in the body and met without story, the senses opened to direct contact with the world, the intensity that clears the last layer of managed experience, and the awareness that has been present through all of it. You will practice the complete Threshold Deha Sadhana twice. Once at the beginning of your understanding, and once at its culmination.
The difference between those two experiences is the teaching.
This is not a yoga course with philosophical language added. Every movement, every breath practice, every moment of stillness is designed to serve a specific contemplative recognition. The body is not preparation for the practice. The body is the practice.
This course is open to participants who have completed the 112 Doorways Assessment and have an established practice with the contemplative techniques.
No prior yoga or movement experience is required. What is required is genuine engagement with the interior work you have already begun.
You have been practicing in one dimension. This course opens another.
